Landmarks Preservation Committee

The Landmarks Preservation Committee (LPC) is responsible for reviewing and advising the members of the Town Board of any request to designate, safeguard, enhance or protect structures of historic character.

The LPC conducts its activities at the pleasure and direction of the Town Board.  The Committee is guided by Chapter 126 of the Town Code and is mindful of an impartial and objective spirit to serve the best interests of the entire North Castle community.

Anyone interested in designating, enhancing or protecting a historic structure must apply directly to the North Castle Town Board.
