Landmarks Preservation Committee

The Landmarks Preservation Committee (LPC) is responsible for nominating historical and other special property for designation as landmarks, so that they can be safeguarded. Such nominations are subject to approval by the Town Board.
The LPC is guided by Chapter 126 of the Town Code and is
mindful of an impartial and objective spirit to serve the best interests of the entire North Castle community.
Anyone interested in designating a historic or other special
structure must apply directly to the Landmarks Preservation Committee.

Certificate of Appropriateness Application Procedure
Prior to the commencement of any work requiring a certificate of appropriateness, the owner shall file an application for such a certificate with the LPC. Read about the application requirements.
