Artist Donates Reduce Reuse Recycle Collage
When Diane Roth discovered the compelling collages created by pop artist Michael Albert on display in a Mount Kisco eatery, she knew she wanted to recruit him to help sell North Castle’s Reduce, Reuse and Recycle campaign to a group of Byram Hills middle schoolers. Mrs. Roth arranged a meeting with the artist and soon after Mr. Albert accompanied her to the You Can Make a Difference Day at H.C. Crittenden School.
Michael Albert’s talents are varied. He has founded the Sir Real brand of natural fruit juices, has created numerous mosaic collages designed from cereal boxes and other packaging materials which have been widely exhibited, and he has published his first book, An Artist’s America.

Michael has generously presented the North Castle Beautification Foundation with an original mosaic that incorporates snippets of North Castle places and phrases with the message of the day: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The art work will be used as a graphic for recycling materials, including a reusable tote bag which will be available at the May 10th Earth Day Celebration on Main Street.
