The Planning Department is staffed with a full time Director of Planning and one full time Planning Board Secretary.

Director of Planning Adam Kaufman advises the Town with respect to the physical development of the Town of North Castle. The Director is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all administrative details of the municipal planning operation and performs planning studies related to the master plan for the Town.

Planning Board Secretary Valerie Desimone is responsible for the transcription of Planning Board minutes, filing official Resolutions of Approval with the Town Clerk, and maintaining the records and files in the department. 

 

TELEVISED MEETINGS North Castle Planning Board meetings can be watched on Cablevision Channel 18 and Verizon Channel 38 in Armonk & Banksville on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. & Saturdays at 12:00 noon. In North White Plains Planning Board meetings can be seen on Cablevision Channel 78 and Verizon Channel 38 on Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. In Quarry Heights the meeting can be viewed on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 38 at 12:00 noon, Friday. It is noted that Planning Board and Town Board meeting showings alternate every Friday.
