Police Department - Bike Unit
The Bike Unit of the North Castle Police Department was formed in May 1998. Sergeant Robert Ferrara is the Unit Commander. Bike Unit Police Officers Joseph Horesky, Thomas McCormack, and William McClure are assigned to patrol Main Street and the surrounding area in Town.
Utilizing bicycles specifically designed for police use, the officers work to address a variety of quality of life issues in their patrol sector. The Bike Unit is also utilized for a variety of special events throughout the Town in order to maintain a police presence and help ensure the safety of residents and visitors attending these events.
