Buckle Up New York Seat Belt Enforcement Campaign
The Town of North Castle Police Department will be participating in the 14-day statewide “Buckle Up New York” campaign, which will be conducted by law enforcement agencies throughout New York State from May 20 through June 2. The goal of the campaign is to crack down on drivers and their passengers who are not wearing seat belts and to help save lives.
Children under the age of 4 must be restrained in a properly installed, and federally approved, child safety seat. Children ages 4, 5, 6, and 7 must be properly restrained in an appropriate child restraint system, one that meets the child's height and weight recommendations according to the child restraint manufacturer.
