NEW PROGRAMS, OLD FAVORITES
From pre-school to senior lifestyles, the Department offers a wide range of activities from music for tots to theater trips for seniors. Let Recreation help you and your family members sharpen their skills in sports or let them discover their special talents. Gain self-confidence through fitness activities or just have fun socializing and meeting your neighbors.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We NEED volunteers to help deliver meals to seniors who are homebound. It requires about an hour of your time – picking up the meals and delivering them. If you would like to volunteer, please call 273-3325.

OUR COMMITMENT
The North Castle Recreation & Parks Department has a two fold commitment to the community. Our job is to provide wholesome quality recreational opportunities. That includes programs such as those in this catalog as well as maintaining a community park system. Our parks and open spaces offer you, its users, both passive and active recreation. They contribute to the open space nature of North Castle. They reflect a community commitment to stewardship of our natural resources and sound environmental planning practices.

Mission Statement North Castle Recreation and Parks is dedicated to providing superior quality recreation programs and services to all residents of town regardless of age, economic or social status. Through our programs we seek to strengthen families, promote wellness, build self esteem, and enhance the quality of life for all of the participants in our community. As stewards of our park system we are committed to preserving the nearly 350 acres of parkland for future generations to behold and enjoy. We will strive to maintain and improve all of our facilities to keep them safe and enjoyable for all, as well as preserve and promote the appreciation of our historic and natural resource. The people who provide our services are our greatest resource. North Castle Recreation strives to employ the best qualified staff  and  support their promotion and development through in-service and other professional training opportunities.
