LIMITED REGISTRATION
Be sure to register as soon as possible. All registrations are on a first come basis. Those residing in the Byram Hills School District and/or the Town of North Castle are eligible as residents for enrollment. (Non-resident Byram Hills School District, pay an additional fee of $10 for any program not held in the school.) If there is space in a program, non-residents may join for an additional $10.00 fee.
MAIL IN YOUR REGISTRATION
Registration by mail will begin 3/19. Envelopes must be postmarked 3/19 or later. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED POSTMARKED EARLIER THAN 3/19. Mail-in registration takes priority over drop-in registration which begins 3/26. Most programs have limited enrollment, so register early. Please fill out registration cards properly – indicating program, program #, day and sessions where applicable. USE ONE REGISTRATION CARD PER PERSON/PER PROGRAM. IF NEEDED, PICK UP EXTRA CARDS AT OFFICE or XEROX CARD IN BROCHURE or PUT ALL PERTINENT INFORMATION ON A 3X5 INDEX CARD. PAYMENT IN FULL MUST ACCOMPANY REGISTRATIONS. YOU MUST HAVE SEPARATE CHECKS FOR EACH PROGRAM AND FOR EACH CHILD. Make checks payable to North Castle Recreation and mail to 40 Maple Avenue, Armonk, NY 10504.

- PHONE – NO phone-in registration
- IN PERSON – Drop-in registration begins March 26th.
- NOTIFICATION (DO NOT CALL OFFICE) of acceptance into a program will be made by return receipt. You will be called if there is a program cancellation. In the event that there is a problem with a registration such as no check, incomplete registration card, etc…the form will be tagged and participant called. A place on a roster will be held for 48 hours only.
- TRANSPORTATION- Transportation to and from recreation programs is the responsibility of the parents unless otherwise noted. Children may ride the school activity bus – but please note that there are forms granting permission that must be filled out and submitted to the Recreation Office prior to your child using the bus.
- CANCELLATIONS – Please note that the Recreation Department follows the school calendar – if there is a half day of school or no school, there are no recreation programs. If religious holidays fall on a Saturday, our programs are cancelled. Programs will not take place the Saturday before a vacation week or the Saturday after a vacation week. Byram Hills School district cancellation or early dismissal will automatically cancel all recreation programs. When the weather is inclement and you are in doubt about whether an after-school program will be held, please call the Recreation Office or our automated hotline number 749-2041 which will be updated throughout the day. You may also call 273-3325, Ext. 1. We reserve the right to cancel any activity with insufficient registration.
- CHANGES – Starting dates and locations are subject to change. Watch for flyers from schools. Most classes have limited enrollment. A waiting list will be maintained to possibly establish more classes or programs.
- NEW REFUND POLICY – Please call our office within 24 hours after the end of the first class in order to obtain a partial refund. There is always a $20 service fee plus a charge for the first class. No refunds will be given after the 24 hour time period. Note: Program dates are subject to change and in this case, there will be no refunds or pro-rations!

- INSURANCE – All persons participate at their own risk and should make certain they have their own insurance.
- INCLEMENT WEATHER – Call the Hotline, 749-2041, to see if program has been cancelled or call the Recreation Dept. at 273-3325, Ext. 1.
- NON-RESIDENTS- May join a program only if room permits and at an additional charge of $10.00
- OFFICE HOURS – Spring – Monday thru Friday – 8:30am-4:30pm.
