The proceeds fund local Habitat house construction. Donate gently used household appliances (no older than 5 years old) and household items. |
| Westchester County accepts hazardous material at the Household Material Reclamation Facility. Go to the website for information on HMRF or call the Westchester County Recycling Helpline at (914) 813-5425. North Castle residents will be subject to pay a small fee.
The easiest method of removal and safe disposal is to have the old appliance removed and taken away by the appliance store when a new freezer is being installed.
If no other methods of disposal are available to you, call Suburban Carting at 1-800-273-9394 to make arrangements for bulk pickup. |
