| Currently, there is no reuse option available for this item. | By the Fall of 2011, most Patagonia clothes will be recyclable. Look for the Common Threads Initiative logo on the care and content label. If they have the Common Threads Initiative logo, Patagonia will take them back. Simply wash them first and bring back to a Patagonia retailer (Hickory and Tweed) or mail them to the Patagonia Service Center at: Patagonia Service Center
Patagonia's Common Threads Recycling Program will take back not only Patagonia branded fleece, Capilene and cotton tees, but also any garment that contains the Polartec sew-in label or can be documented to be Polartec fabric. Consistent, high quality fibers and tightly controlled manufacturing make Polartec a natural resource for polyester recycling processes.
For repairs, please wash your garment before mailing it, and be sure to ship the package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance. Patagonia cannot replace packages lost during return shipment if proof of tracking is unavailable. Typical turnaround time for repairs - with shipping - is about six (6) weeks, but may be longer during periods of high volume. For faster turnaround, please use an expedited shipping service (such as overnight or 2nd day). Expedited orders will receive priority processing whenever possible, and will be returned to you via an expedited method at no extra charge. Send the item to:
Include a note with your name, a physical return address, daytime phone number, what you are sending in and why, and what you would like to have happen. The garment will be evaluated and if there is to be a charge, you will be contacted. If the item is deemed irreparable, Patagonia may, at its discretion, replace it or send a Gift Card for the last known retail value of the piece. If the garment has sentimental value, and you would like to have it returned to you rather than being issued a credit or replacement, please make this very clear in your letter.
