Town Board

About:

A five member Town Board, made up of the Supervisor and four Councilmen elected at large, is the governing body of the Town and is responsible for the “health, safety and welfare” of its residents.  The Supervisor’s term is two years; the Councilmen serve four year terms.

The Supervisor is the Chief Fiscal Officer and the Chief Executive Officer of the Town.

The Town Board is a legislative body responsible for setting policy, adopting the annual budget, approving contracts and expenditures, and enacting laws and resolutions for the betterment of the Town’s residents.

Regular Town Board meetings are conducted twice a month, usually on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in the Town Hall meeting room. All meetings are open to the public and are broadcast live on NCTV, and live and on demand on the Town website.

Town Board Meetings and Work Sessions are rebroadcast in Armonk and Banksville on NCTV Cablevision 18 and Verizon 39, and in North White Plains on NCTV Cablevision 75 and Verizon 39 as follows:

Town Board Meetings:

  • Monday through Friday, and Sunday at 12:00 Noon
  • Monday, and Wednesday through Sunday at 8:30 PM
  • Monday through Sunday at 12:00 Midnight

Town Board Work Sessions:

  • Monday through Sunday at 9:00 AM
