About the Recycling Committee

The mission of the North Castle Recycling Committee is to develop and promote innovative and effective recycling and waste management practices throughout the town. The Committee initiates creative cost effective solutions for our recycling challenges through a coordinated program of education, research and evaluation.

What We Do
 

• Establish North Castle as a leader in the reduction of waste by promoting effective operations and policies.
• Identify projects that have the potential to reduce waste and increase recycling.
• Engage and educate North Castle residents and businesses to increase efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle.
• Maximize waste reduction and optimize recycling efforts by sharing resources with other communities, organizations, schools and committees
