E-waste can be brought to the annual E-Waste Collection Day at Town Hall. See recycling calendar for details.

Alternatively, you can bring all e-waste to Best Buy, Good Will, or any location that sells computer equipment. Call first to be certain they will accept this material.

Additional Information

Pursuant to NYS law,  businesses, municipalites, and subdivisions of the state, including your waste collection company or service, will no longer be able to collect electronic waste for disposal or dispose of any electronic waste in a landfill or waste-to-energy facility. Beginning January 1, 2015, all consumers wil be prohibited from disposing of covered electronic equipment in landfills or waste-to-energy facilities, or placing electronic waste at the curb for collection which is intended for disposal at such types of facilities. Items such as laptops, computer monitors, keyboards and mice, CPUs (desktops or servers), TVs and monitors, copiers and scanners, fax machines, printers, VCRs, DVRs, DVD players, electronic and video game consoles, portable audio players, digital converter boxes, satellite receivers are considered e-waste.
