Planning Department

The Planning Department is staffed with a full-time Director of Planning and one full-time Planning Board Secretary.

Director of Planning Adam Kaufman advises the Town with respect to the physical development of the Town of North Castle. The Director is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all administrative details of the municipal planning operation and performs planning studies related to the master plan for the Town.

Joseline Huerta, the Planning Board Secretary, is responsible for the transcription of Planning Board minutes, filing official Resolutions of Approval with the Town Clerk, and maintaining the records and files in the department.

Understanding the Town Code and the development process can be confusing; Planning Department staff are available to discuss your project and the process with you.
