Town Board

A five member Town Board, made up of the Supervisor and four Councilmen elected at large, is the governing body of the Town and is responsible for the "health, safety and welfare" of its residents. The Supervisor's term is two years; the Councilmen serve four year terms.

The Supervisor is the Chief Fiscal Officer and the Chief Executive Officer of the Town.

The Town Board is a legislative body responsible for setting policy, adopting the annual budget, approving contracts and expenditures, and enacting laws and resolutions for the betterment of the Town's residents.

Meetings

Regular Town Board meetings are conducted on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7:30 pm at Town Hall in the Meeting Room. All meetings are open to the public and are broadcast live on NCTV, and live and on demand on the Town website.

Town Board Meetings and Work Sessions are rebroadcast in Armonk and Banksville on NCTV Channel 18 and Verizon 39, and in North White Plains on NCTV Channel 75 and Verizon 39 as follows:

  • Monday through Friday, and Sunday at Noon
  • Monday, and Wednesday through Sunday at 8:30 pm
  • Monday through Sunday at Midnight
