Learn More About Invasives

Invasive Plants

Invasive plants vary greatly around the country. In North Castle and Westchester the three primary groups are vines, weeds, and shrubs. Most of these invasives were brought to America as ornamental plants for gardens, to prevent soil erosion, or as boundaries for property or animals.
