The Accident Investigation Unit of the North Castle Police Department is utilized for the investigation of motor vehicle accidents where there has been a serious physical injury or a fatality. Officers assigned to the Accident Investigation Unit have all received training from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services in Basic Accident Investigation and Intermediate Accident Investigation.
