This type can be recycled with metals if it fully discharged (i.e, empty) and the plastic valve is broken off and can be disposed of with scrap metals. | Westchester County accepts hazardous material at the Household Material Reclamation Facility. Go to the website for information on HMRF or call the Westchester County Recycling Helpline at (914) 813-5425. Residents of North Castle will be subject to pay a small fee.
