To learn more about composting yard waste, visit the Town of Irvington website and click on the "Love 'em and Leave 'em" link. | Residents are strongly encouraged to keep leaves on their properties by composting or blowing them into their woods. Any remaining leaves that cannot be accommodated on the resident's property must be placed curbside in biodegradable paper leaf bags weighing no more than 40 pounds when filled. Please notify landscapers of this procedure. Call the North Castle Highway Department at (914) 273-3000 x45 to inquire about chipping of fallen branches.
