Bio – Joan Goldberg, Town Administrator

Joan Goldberg was appointed by the Town Board in October of 2012 to the position of Town Administrator.  As the Town of North Castle’s chief operating officer, Mrs. Goldberg is directly responsible to the Supervisor and Town Board for effective preparation and execution of the policies and objectives set forth by the Town Board in accordance with the Town Code and NY State Law. 

Additionally, Mrs. Goldberg oversees the day-to-day operation of the Town, its various departments, and personnel where she represents the Town in collective bargaining with all unions.  With a Masters of Public Administration from Marist College and 25 years of government experience, Joan will ensure that the North Castle community is provided with the most cost-efficient and highest quality of Town services.
